dc.description This paper summarizes the experience and findingsfrom the project Modern Lecturer – Modern and Effective AdultEducation, which ran between 2010 and 2012 in the ÚstíRegion in the Czech Republic and which was co-funded fromthe European Social Fund. The courses were prepared withattention to detail and to pedagogical aspects, emphasizingeffective and inspiring learning. Learners were encouraged toeffectively use information and communication technologiesin their teaching practice in further education for adults.Continuous and final discussions and the evaluation of all tencourses have shown which methods promoting active learningwere well received by the target group.
