dc.description The purpose of this research is to evaluate the abilities of the pre-service and in-service teachers, related to managing misbehaviour in the classroom in the point view of 4th grade students of the Faculty of Education attending teaching experience course. The population of this descriptive study comprised a total number of 1.225 4th grade students of the Faculty of Education attending teaching experience course and 165 teachers, chosen from 15 schools, commissioned to guide pre-service teachers for teaching experience course. Sample of the study included a total number of 475 pre-service teachers selected by proportional random sampling method. Data was gathered by a survey instrument, developed by researchers, consisting of 47 items assessing pre-service and in-service teachers’ competences related to managing misbehaviour in the classroom. After analyzing the participants’ responses, it was revealed that pre-service teachers perceive themselves and inservice teachers as extremely adequate in terms of coping with “taking bad habits (i.e. smoking, gambling) to the classroom” and perceive inadequate in terms of “dreaming in lesson (to sound listening lesson).
