dc.description	Saint Teresa has the experience of God in The Mansions, mainly as Husband. She is led to him through courtship and wedding in order to reach its climax in spiritual marriage. Love is the key. Nobody questions, at least in religious contexts, its mystical nature. On the contrary, Saint Augustine is an intellectual. The way to God is described in his book, Confession, God being conceived as truth, the eternal and the same always. Many people question Augustine as a mystic. As for us, according to Saint Teresa’s experiences, we also believe that Augustine is a mystic. We focus on the mystical experiences as narrated in The Mansions and Confessions. We take Saint Augustine’s life as the thread to show the passionate love of fire that lies beneath these abstract terms as well as shed light on them with Saint Teresa’s experiences.
