dc.description The purpose of this study is to examine of the written texts in terms of the usage of the intertextuality of the Turkish teacher candidates in the written texts that they created. For this purpose, was asked from student teachers some writing compositions, at different periods and four separate topics in the lesson of writing training in the 2010-2011 academic years. Then, was made the selection of texts for review. Later, the compositions were examined. The working population of study is the third-grade students in Erciyes University Faculty of Education Department of Turkish Education. 12 student teachers were determined via purpose - random sampling method in the working population. The texts of candidate teachers in the working population (sample) were chosen by way of random method from the inside total composition papers. The intertextual relationship format determined according to the types from the texts. According to results of the investigation, Turkish candidate teachers' written texts, meets the criteria of intertextuality.
