Objetivo: presentar la fundamentación del modelo educativo para la formación de recursos humanos en la gestión de información en salud. Desarrollo: se parte de las necesidades de aprendizaje para la formación de competencias que permitan un desempeño adecuado en los sistemas y servicios de salud cubanos. Se analizan los ejes de formación, diseño y arquitectura del referido modelo. Conclusiones: el modelo integró un proceso que contempla la habilitación, capacitación, preparación y perfeccionamiento de recursos humanos en gestión de información en salud. Contribuyó a obtener un graduado de perfil amplio especializado en las disciplinas de Informática, Estadísticas Sanitarias e Información Científica. Se destacó su integración en las estrategias de desarrollo del Sistema Nacional de Salud, en la esfera de la informatización del sector y en la universalización de la educación superior en la Licenciatura en Tecnología de la salud<br>Objective: to present the grounds of the educative model for the training of human resources in health information management. Development: it starts from the learning needs for the training of competences that allow an adequate performance in the Cuban health systems and services. The training, design and architecture axes of the referred model are analyzed. Conclusions: the model integrated a process that takes into consideration the habilitation, upgrading, training and improvement of the human resources in health information management. It helped to have a wide profile graduate specialized in the disciplines of Informatics, Health Statistics and Scientific Information. Its integration into the development strategies of the National Health System, into the informatization sphere of the sector, and in the universalization of higher education in the Health Technology Licentiate, was highlighted |
