dc.description	A propòsit del projecte «Òpera Oberta» de la temporada 2006-2007 del Liceu, en aquest article farem una anàlisi de la categoria artística de l’òpera i la seva importància social en l’educació superior. Les diferents visions sobre el personatge de Manon, que vam tenir l’oportunitat de veure en aquella temporada, serviran de fil conductor per abordar la dimensió educativa, artística i política d’un fenomen cultural de primer ordre a escala mundial. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ À propos du projet Òpera Oberta (Opéra ouvert), de la saison 2006-2007 du Liceo de Barcelone, nous faisons dans cet article une analyse de la catégorie artistique de l’opéra et de son importance dans l’enseignement supérieur. Les différentes appréhensions du personnage de Manon que nous avons eu l’occasion de voir au cours de cette saison serviront de fil conducteur pour aborder la dimension éducative, artistique et politique d’un phénomène culturel de premier ordre à l’échelle mondiale.<br>On the occasion of the project “Open Opera”, of the 2006-2007 season at the Liceu, this paper analyses the artistic category of opera and its importance in higher education. The various readings of the character of Manon that we have had the opportunity to see in this season will provide the guiding tread to tackle the educational, artistic and political dimension of a world-class cultural phenomenon.<br>A propósito del proyecto «Òpera Oberta», de la temporada 2006-2007 del Liceo, en este artículo hacemos un análisis de la categoría artística de la ópera y su importancia en la educación superior. Las diferentes visiones sobre el personaje de Manon que hemos tenido la oportunidad de ver en dicha temporada servirán de hilo conductor para abordar la dimensión educativa, artística y política de un fenómeno cultural de primer orden a escala mundial.
