dc.description Ecological knowledge is helpful in harmonizing the relationship between human activities and environmental protection, especially in the Western China Development. Ecological laboratory plays a critical role in the course of ecology. It, however, has some shortcomings at present, for example, there is a lack of creativity training. The author reports an innovative teaching strategy in ecological laboratory, which has been carried out for two years, and aimed to promote creativity among students. Advantages, problems and their solutions are also discussed.
