dc.description <DIV align=justify>Apresentam-se padrões e indicadores de competência em informação para serem aplicados em contextos informacional e educacional. Isso requer reflexão, questionamentos, discussão e os resultados deverão ser usados para o planejamento de estratégias visando ao estabelecimento de política que esteja em conformidade com os interesses e necessidades dos bibliotecários e educadores brasileiros inseridos na atual Sociedade do Conhecimento. <p><DIV align=justify>This article aims at presented of the information literacy competence standards and indicators for applicability in the informacional and educacional contexts. It require reflection, questioning , discussion and the results will use in outlining the strategies to establish a policy that meet the aspiration of the prospective brazilian librarians and educators in the Knowledge Society.
