dc.description	We report on a reformulation of an experiment that studies the rolling of a sphere on an incline, usually made on the so-called Packard’s apparatus. By using a digital camera to capture the motion, we can increase the analysis of the motion’s variables. From the images obtained in real time the position, velocity, acceleration and energy of the rolling body are obtained with a very good precision. The experiment allows the study of the hypothesis of mechanical energy conservation in a motion of rolling without slipping.
