dc.description Among the areas that the internet is worldwide used for comes social media first. Social Sharing sites are preferred for many purposes mainly for communication and friendship. Answers to the question “Could any education activity be arranged on Facebook?” have been investigated. In this direction, in order to define high school students’ most preferred social sharing sites and their thoughts on education delivered on social media, open ended questions have been asked to the students. Furthermore, one group prosttest experimental pattern has been resorted in this survey. Thus, sharings about 3 literature persons have been made and a literature group has been formed on an already existing account. At the end of the survey, it has been seen that although students consider facebook as a recreational site, they don’t stay unresponsive to the sharings, they add to them via various likes and comments.© 2013 IOJES.
