dc.description	Neste texto, procuramos, a partir de uma pesquisa em uma cooperativa de recicladores da região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, expor nosso tatear, os recuos e avanços que fazemos, na tentativa de reencontrarmos constantemente nossos desejos investigativos, que se transformam ao misturarem-se com outros desejos. Este artigo, portanto, procura explicitar os caminhos investigativos e as reflexões que deles advêm. As análises desenvolvidas sobre pesquisa-formação mostram a possibilidade de construção de um espaço que pode dar visibilidade e refletir sobre as vivências de homens e mulheres que trabalham com o destino de resíduos sólidos urbanos, a partir de experiências de trabalho coletivo, numa ação cotidiana de geração de renda, trabalho e educação. <br> The present article is the result of a research conducted in a recycling cooperative located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. Our aim is to describe the way we handled the project, the setbacks and advances we faced in our attempts to expose our investigative approaches and the reflections arising from this movement. Our analyses on educational research show the possibility of building up an area of greater visibility, in which one may reflect upon the experiences of men and women who work in urban solid waste management, based on experiences of collective action, engaged in routine actions involving income generation, employment, and education.
