dc.description	Resumen: La experiencia relatada en el presente artículo aborda dos retos. Por un lado, el adaptar un curso presencial impartido en el contexto mexicano a una modalidad en línea de alcance internacional. Por el otro, los contenidos del curso, cuya temática refiere a tópicos de formación en valores prescindiendo de la interacción cara a cara entre los sujetos. El propósito de relatar esta experiencia pedagógica es compartir el proceso seguido para enfrentar estos dos retos. El módulo en cuestión, “Práctica docente y convivencia escolar,” forma parte del Diplomado ofrecido por la Red Latinoamericana de Convivencia Escolar. En este texto se focaliza el proceso de diseño pedagógico del módulo, así como ciertas características del foro de discusión, el cual se convirtió en una poderosa herramienta de reflexión dialógica entre los participantes. Si bien, la dedicación requerida para el diseño en línea resultó muy superior al invertido en un curso presencial, el esfuerzo rindió frutos. Los objetos y situaciones de aprendizaje elaborados facilitaron la participación de los involucrados, brindando un espacio enriquecedor de intercambio y construcción de conocimientos entre educadores latinoamericanos. Desde sus propias realidades, los agentes educativos identificaron tanto puntos de convergencia como de divergencia sobre el tema de la convivencia escolar en sus respectivos países. Esta situación facilitó la reflexión crítica y generó oportunidades para ampliar su perspectiva-socio moral, punto fundamental en el proceso de educación en valores. Por tanto, afirmamos que la formación en tópicos de esta índole se potencia a través de un adecuado diseño pedagógico mediado por TIC.Abstract:The experience shared in this article refers basically to two challenges. On one hand, adapting a faceto-face course taught in the Mexican context to an international on-line course. On the other, the topic itself, which presents academic content related to moral education in a virtual environment where human interaction is limited.The purpose of this paper is to narrate the process followed in facing these two challenges. The course is called “Teacher’s practice and school convivencia” and it belongs to a Certificate offered by the Latin American Convivencia Network (Red Lationamericana de Convivencia Escolar). In this text we highlight the pedagogical design of the on-line course, as well as certain characteristics of the discussion forum, which became a powerful tool for facilitating reflective dialogues among Latin American educators. By sharing their own realities, informed by the theoretical approach of “convivencia”, participants were able to identify similarities and differences in their own schools. This situation enhanced their critical thinking and offered opportunities to expand their socio -moral perspective, two fundamental processes in the field of moral education. Therefore we state that TICs offers great potential in approaching this kind of topic at an international level, through an adequate pedagogical design.
