dc.description Interpersonal sensitivity is, undue and excessive awareness of and sensitivity to, the behavior and feelings of others. The Interpersonal Sensitivity Measure (IPSM) is a self-reported scale developed by Boyce and Parker (1989) to measure hypersensitivity to interpersonal relations. The aim of the present study is to adapt the IPSM into Turkish. The validity of the IPSM is investigated by confirmatory (CFA) and exploratory (EFA) factor analyses and criterion-related validity. The result of the CFA suggested that the original factor structure of the IPSM does not fit the present data. The EFA revealed a new three-factor structure for the IPSM. The reliability of the IPSM is investigated by computing internal consistency. Results showed that the Turkish IPSM had a high internal consistency (Cronbach alpha = .81). The psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the IPSM showed a satisfactory level of reliability and validity.
