dc.description	The International Trade transaction as that performs a country with the rest of the world has as the only thread of its effectiveness the good operational performance and operation of ports and airports of the countries that traded goods and services or goods between them the dangerous goods. The objective of this research focuses on analyzing the handling of dangerous goods at the port of La Guairá. The methodology used located in research in a descriptive level. It is concluded that the authorities who govern the Port of La Guairá not efficiently apply the relevant legal provisions to the segregation of dangerous goods proving this in a potential danger to the physical integrity of the dockworkers who manage the merchandise, and for the port's facilities.<br>El Comercio Internacional como transacción que realiza un país con el resto del mundo tiene como único hilo conductor de su efectividad el buen desempeño Operatividad y funcionamiento de los Puertos y Aeropuertos de los países que transan bienes y servicios o mercancías entre ellas las mercancías peligrosas. El objetivo de la presente investigación se centra en analizar el manejo de las mercancías peligrosas en el Puerto de la Guaira. La metodología utilizada ubica a la investigación en un nivel descriptivo. Se concluye que las autoridades que rigen el Puerto de La Guaira no aplican de forma eficiente la normativa legal correspondiente a la segregación de mercancías peligrosas resultando esto en un potencial peligro para la integridad física de los trabajadores portuarios que manejan esta mercadería y para las instalaciones del puerto.
