Purpose. To form a holistic view of the market prospects of structured investment products in Russia, to identify the main obstacles to the realization of its potential. Methodology. The work is based on the partial analysis of structured investment products market in Russia. Results. Market for structured investment products is potentially one of the most attractive markets for investment services in Russia. Realize the potential of this market is undermined by several problems associated with developmental regulatory framework, low financial literacy, as well as the weakness of investment institutions. Practical implications. The results can be used to study the phenomenon of structured investment products, as well as the practical organization of the line of structured products in the investment banks. |
