dc.description In this article there talks each other the discussion that exists concerning the utility of the exercises of paper and pencil, being this one of the principal weakness in the contemporary school. That's why it begins formulating a typical exercise of kinematics, in which there for is asked the student a simple reasoning of a concrete situation, later it is analyzed which would be the possible solutions to the enunciated situation, and then the statement transforms in a problem of research adding parameters, variables and modifying the purpose of the questions, this way a problematic situation appears in the what one the student will be capable of choosing the fundamental aspects to solve it, in such a way that this one adopts an attitude adequate before a research process. Finally a perfectible solution appears in accordance with the scheme used by the student to verify it experimentally.
