<div align="justify">Este estudo evidencia por meio das vozes dos professores que, embora a prisão seja apontada como espaço de reeducação e ressocialização do homem privado de liberdade, ao construir uma experiência ancorada no exercício autoritário do poder e da dominação, ela acaba por constituir-se, em uma organização cujas relações se socializam na delinqüência. Entre o discurso oficial e o modo de vida instaurado pelas práticas de ressocialização próprias da prisão, estabelecese um hiato: embora se pretenda a humanização do tratamento, incluindo-se neste a educação escolar, as técnicas adotadas põem à mostra seu lado reverso. Os professores participantes da pesquisa, um estudo de caso, que se desenvolveu em presídio masculino, do interior do estado de São Paulo/Br., mostram ter clareza de que a meta da reabilitação tem permanecido, no nível verbal, e evidenciam através de suas falas, que o elemento fundamental da eficácia de seu papel reside noprocesso de resgate da liberdade, e a escola é uma das instituições que melhor cumpre a tarefa de oferecer possibilidades que libertam e unem, ao mesmo tempo. Embora o quadro que se apresentanão seja alentador, dada à falta de transparência das organizações penitenciárias e o hiato entre o discurso oficial e o modo de vida instaurado no espaço prisional que dificultam possíveis melhorias,alguns passos podem ser dados, visto que muitos dos problemas existentes no interior da escola das unidades prisionais têm semelhanças com os de outros espaços escolares.<br><br>Abstract This paper highlights, through the teacher’s voices, that although prison is pointed out to be a space of reeducation and ressocialization of men in situation of lack of freedom , it is built upon an experience of authoritarian practice of power and domination that results in being an organization whose relations are socialized in delinquency. Between the official speech and the way of life implemented by ressocialization, typical of prison, there is a gap: although a humanized treatment is pursued, including the education, the adopted techniques reveal another hidden side. Teachers involved in this research, a case study developed in a male prison in the interior of São Paulo State/Brazil, have made very clear that the aim of rehabilitation has remained in their speech, very evident by their talks, which states that the fundamental efficiency element of their role reside in the process of freedom rescuing, and in the role of school as one of the institutions that best accomplishes the task of offering possibilities that set the convicts free while uniting them at the same time. However the depicted backgrounds are not promisingly comfortable, due to a lack of penitentiary organizations policy transparency and the gap between the official discourse and the way of life established in the prison space, difficult to be improved, some steps may be taken, as many of the existing problems in the schools inside prison unities are similar to those in other school premises.</div> |
