dc.description	A partir de artigo publicado por Moraes e Kuenzer em Educação & Sociedade 93, sobre questões da pós-graduação em educação, as autoras discutem a história e o desenvolvimento da educação como campo de pesquisa, a partir das múltiplas contribuições possíveis, trazendo aspectos diferentes e mesmo contraditórios aos abordados no texto com o qual discutem. Concordando com as autoras sobre a importância da relação prática-teoria-prática para o campo, entendemos que a história da área "educação" permite ampliar a discussão. Entendemos, ainda, que a complexidade e a transdisciplinaridade que caracterizam o campo permitem identificá-lo como mediador de múltiplas práticas e teorias, bem como de modos diferenciados de com elas pensar e agir. Para buscar entender essa riqueza e pluralidade das práticas, as articulações destas com as teorias e os diversos aspectos que formam o campo, lançamos mão da, para nós, indispensável, noção de tessitura de conhecimentos em redes.<br>Based on a paper by Moraes and Kuenzer published in Educação & Sociedade 93, which raised issues related to post-graduation in Education, this paper discusses the history and development of education as a field of studies considering various possible contributions of research and presenting aspects that differ from and even contradict those brought forth by these authors. In total agreement with the referred authors about the importance of the practice-theory relations to the field, it claims that the history of the "education" area allows widening this discussion. The complexity and transdisciplinarity that characterize the educational field is regarded as a mediator of both multiple practices and theories and different modes of thinking and acting with them. Considering education as a field which comprehends multiple practices, the authors focus on the notion of interwoven knowledge nets so as to grasp the ways theory and practice are articulated, which could not be achieved otherwise.
