Se presenta una aproximación al estado del conocimiento sobre la utilización de la investigación en la toma de decisiones políticas y la formulación de iniciativas, así como en otro tipo de prácticas. Los principales hallazgos muestran que la investigación sí tiene influencia más allá del ámbito académico, y ésta observa diversas modalidades: inclusión de argumentos en el debate público; formulación y modificación de iniciativas; modificación y mejora de algunas prácticas; entre otras. Además de ofrecer un panorama de la investigación sobre el fenómeno, el ejercicio representa un insumo para la agenda de investigación correspondiente. This paper presents an approach about research utilization in the decision making and the policy process, as well as in other social practices. The main findings show that social research has influence beyond the academic context and observes diverse modalities: inclusion of ideas in the public debate; decision making; policy evaluation; change and improvement of some practices. In addition, the exercise represents a contribution for the corresponding research agenda. |
