dc.description En este artículo se describen, en líneas generales, los planteamientos teóricos que subyacen la búsqueda de un modelo para evaluar la formación técnica de nivel superior, poniendo el énfasis en la metodología empleada para configurar un conjunto de indicadores de pertinencia, considerando dos dimensiones esenciales: la eficiencia interna del proceso de formación y su productividad externa.<br>This paper describes the theoretical aspects which guide the search of a model to evaluate the training of technicians in higher education in Chile, and presents the method to obtain a set of indicators for its pertinence, considering two main dimensions: the internal efficiency of the training process and its external productivity.
