dc.description	<p>Recibido 22 de setiembre de 2009 • Aceptado 02 de diciembre de 2009 • Corregido 01 de febrero de 2010</p><p><em><br /></em></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Resumen.</strong><strong> </strong>El propósito de este artículo es analizar algunos aspectos de vital importancia en las organizaciones escolares: el Liderazgo Educativo. El liderazgo es un tema que ha despertado el interés entre diversos autores, el término lleva la connotación de imágenes de personas poderosas, dinámicas, inteligentes, la mayoría de los análisis del liderazgo reconocen el hecho de que ocurre en todas las organizaciones.</p> <p>Este artículo sugiere una explicación breve sobre qué significa liderazgo, así como su definición, para, luego, explicar dos teorías que se han venido desarrollando: la teoría transaccional y la teoría transformacional y cómo repercuten en la gestión escolar. Además, se mencionan algunos elementos básicos acerca del liderazgo de transformación en el director educativo.</p> <p>Finalmente, se explica en qué consiste la visión en una organización escolar y cómo se vincula con el liderazgo dentro de las organizaciones educativas.</p><br /><p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p class="BasicParagraph"><strong>Abstract.</strong><strong> </strong>The purpose of this article is to analyze some aspects of vital importance to educational organizations: Educational Leadership. Leadership is a big issue that has being an interest for many authors. The term gives a connotation of images that include powerful, dynamic and intelligent people. The majority of leadership analysis recognizes the fact that it can occur in all the organizations. This article suggests a brief explanation of what leadership means, and it explains two theories that have been developed and have an impact in the educational system: the transactional theory and the transformational theory. Therefore, this article mentions some basic elements about transformational leadership in a school´s principal. Finally, there is an explanation about the vision of an educational organization and how this one links its leadership with the educational organizations in general.</p>
