dc.description Men and women, as human beings, exist and are in constant relation with things; they go beyond externality. Their existence is linked to the concept of intentionality. Intentions precede acts and go back in time to meet the logical necessity of having the intention to perceive the perception. Thus, intentionality works like a bridge between the immanent and the transcendental, between the presentation of the world and our representation. To understand a historical or geographical event is to reassume the overall intention, not only of its properties but also of the unique way of existing, in which all social facts or phenomena are expressed.
