dc.description This study was implemented with 204 students in 2001-2002 academic year, spring term in the Faculty of Education, Selçuk University and aimed to determine the relation between the students’ achievement in physics courses and their attitude towards mathematics. The mathematics attitude scale, which is developed by Duatepe and Çilesiz (1999), has used to determine the students’ attitudes towards mathematics. The scale is composed of 50 items. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficiency of the scale is 0, 97.
