Cet article propose d’interroger les évolutions des processus de choix d’orientation des étudiant-e-s dans l’enseignement supérieur à travers les études de médecine, dans un contexte de féminisation massive de ces études en France depuis une trentaine d’années. Les résultats d’une enquête par questionnaires, menée auprès de 176 lycéen-ne-s de terminales scientifiques de l’académie de Montpellier durant l’année 2009, démontrent la persistance des représentations sexuées des professions et spécialités médicales lors du choix d’orientation vers les études de médecine.<br>The aim of this article is to study the evolution of the curriculum orientation of students of both genders in higher studies in a context of mass feminization of medical studies in France for the last thirty years. This article is based on the results of a survey by questionnaire of 176 fourth-year scientific students (92 girls and 84 boys) in two urban secondary schools of the academy of Montpellier in 2009. The results of our study show the continuing influence of gender representations of professions and specialized medical field orientations in orientation choices. |
