dc.description The choice and application of health protecting technologies in the education of left-handed schoolchildren should be made with the consideration of vegetative regulation peculiarities in the corresponding age groups. The article describes the results of the research in vegetative regulation indexes of left-handed schoolchildren and students in the age group from 6 to 25. It has been found out that the vegetative balance of healthy left-handed students is characterized by a considerable influence of sympathetic component in comparison to right-handed students of the same age. With age the difference in the VIK indexes diminishes.
