dc.description The aim of the article is: (1) to illustrate the uses of computers in language teaching with regard to the teaching of writing and reading, and language study; (2) to give guidance about the introduction of computers in language teaching; and (3) to supply information about the availability of suitable programmes. Die doelstelling met hierdie artikel is om: (1) die gebruike van rekenaars in taalonderrig ten opsigte van skryf- en leesonderrig asook taalstudie, toe te Jig; (2) rigting te gee oor die inskakeling van rekenaars in die taalonderrigsituasie; en (3) inligting te verskaf oor die verkryging van geskikte programme.
