dc.description The aim of this work - to assess the socio-demographic and socio-hygienic characteristics of elderly patients with arterial hypertension. A total of 319 patients - 211 of elderly, and 108 medium (control group) of age. There have been a case study using a specially developed the original questionnaire. It is concluded that a large number of elderly people living alone and widowed patients. Nearly half of respondents in both groups are low income among the middle-low proportion of elderly. The main costs (40%) in all groups account for food, for treatment and medicines patients are spending more than 15% did not. More than three quarters of elderly patients with arterial hypertension are satisfied with their health care provided. Elderly patients pay for treatment less often than comparison group patients, but they are significantly more likely than the average age of patients believe that health care should only be free. Patients who live with children, because of the broader financial opportunities are more than a qualitative treatment.
