dc.description	La carpeta de aprendizaje es un recurso didáctico que goza de una larga y fructífera historia en la enseñanza primera y secundaria. Este hecho contrasta con su reciente introducción en la educación superior. El presente artículo parte de esta consideración y explora las consecuencias que la irrupción de la carpeta de aprendizaje tiene en la enseñanza universitaria. Para ello, se investigan las diversas definiciones que los especialistas en la materia han dado del instrumento y se analizan sus repercusiones en el terreno del aprendizaje y su evaluación.<br><br>The learning portfolio is a teaching resource that has a long and fruitful history in primary and secondary schools. This contrasts with its recent introduction in higher education. The paper starts from this fact and explores the con-sequences of the learning portfolio in university teaching. To this end, the various definitions that specialists have given about the instrument and its implications in the field of learning and assessment will be investigated.
