The purpose of this study was to develop a likert-style reliable and valid biology attitude scale. Before developing the biology attitude scale, the current scales had been carefully scrutinized, the views of experts taken, and the first draft of scale prepared by choosingstatements. The validity and reliability studies of the scale were carried out by applying the first draft on 168 students as a pilot study. The content validity of the scale was confirmed by the panel of judges. The factor analysis of the scale provided the construction validity of the scale. There are 36 statements as positive and negative statements. The value of Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin is 0.91, Barlet’s value is 5415.115 and Cronbach alpha coefficient is 0.941 for the reliability. |
