dc.description Dancing in human life has existed since ancient times. Created by the need to express feelings, mental stress relieving. It is a means of interpersonal communication, form of recreation improves physical fitness of every one. For several years, raises an unusual interest in children. To taste dance adventure people join to Urban Houses of Culture, dance clubs, where they can leverage the interests and passions. The study was conducted in two research groups- 20 girls dancing in a dance studio Born2Dance and 20 girls having no contact with dance classes from Primary School No 3 in Toruń, testing for morphological features such as: weight, body height and motor abilities with 6 samples Eurofit test. The findings, which have been subjected to two study groups, were processed statistically and calculated: Rohrer index, the index Mollison, the arithmetic mean, square deviation, differences between the mean as well as the significance of differences for independent samples for makrogroup. In an attempt to abdominal muscle strength testing dancers have achieved worse results than untrained girls. Dancing to a large extent contribute to the improvement of physical fitness, development of all motor abilities and has a positive effect on the morphological characteristics of girls
