dc.description La presencia marginal de la literatura en los manuales de enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera y su escaso uso en las aulas ha provocado la reacción de numerosos autores, que reivindican el potencial didáctico de los textos literarios para la enseñanza de E/LE. Dentro de esta línea de pensamiento se encuadra el presente artículo, donde partiendo de la tipología de actividades y estrategias existentes en la didáctica del inglés, presentamos una propuesta para la aplicación de actividades comunicativas a textos literarios en castellano, en un esfuerzo por paliar el vacío existente en el campo de la enseñanza de E/LE. ///////////The marginal presence of literature in the manuals of teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language and its scarce use in the classrooms has caused the reaction of numerous authors that claim the didactic potential of literary texts for the teaching of SFL. Inside this line of thought the present essay is fit in, where leaving from the typology of activities and existing strategies in the teaching of English, we present a proposal for the application of communicative activities to literary texts in Spanish, in an effort to alleviate the emptiness existing in the field of the teaching of SFL.
