First of all, one reflects on the concept of competence and the different definitions given by some experts in this area.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In second place it is realized the enumeration and later critical analysis of competences for educational professionals, from the corresponding title of degree to by matters, elaborating in addition a frame to subcompetences for Social Sciences.</span></span></p>
