dc.description Taking its cue from Jacques Derrida’s questioning of philosophical hermeneutics’ idea of dialogue and drawing upon the French philosopher’s investigation into the language from his early work the present paper undertakes an inquiry into the legitimacy of the way in which dialogue is used in education in our times.
