Este artigo trata de uma das variáveis presentes no meio escolar que a cada dia ganha mais espaço nas áreas sociais -- a Indústria Cultural. Este termo conhecido desde 1947, através de Adorno & Horkheimer, com o lançamento da obra Dialética do Esclarecimento, denuncia que, nas relações de troca de mercadorias a que são reduzidas todas as relações sociais, o produto cultural perde seu brilho, sua unicidade, sua especificidade de valor de uso. Quando se transforma em um valor de troca, dissolve a verdadeira arte ou cultura.<br>Culture Industry invades school: This article deals with the culture industry, which nowadays is a most effective influence on the school system and on several social areas. Coined by Adorno and Horkheimer in the Dialectic of Enlightenment in 1947, this term denounces that in the relations of exchanging merchandise into which all social relations are reduced the cultural work loses its luminosity, its uniqueness, its especific qualities as value of use. By becoming a value of exchange it consumes the real art and culture. |
