dc.description	New trends are focused on proposing educational learning situations that allow critical development - reflective of the students, in order to understand the social context in which they operate, and in which is immersed the school where they are. Within the content and skills of Geography of Venezuela's junior year studies the economic activities sectors: primary (extractive), secondary (processing activities), Tertiary (Commerce and Transport), these can be applied in the community to know their spatial dynamics, and thus promote the student's interest to understand human geographic realities taking place in your area. The methodology is framed in a field survey where students identify the elements of each of the economic sectors and the dynamics of these and then synthesize the information into a cartogram produced by them. It was observed that participants achieve geographical analysis - spatial concerning the study, according to the findings stating educational and social requirements today.<br>Las nuevas tendencias educativas están orientadas a proponer situaciones de aprendizaje que permitan el desarrollo crítico - reflexivo de los estudiantes, a fin de comprender el contexto social en el cual se desenvuelven, y en el que está inmersa la institución educativa donde se forman. Dentro de los contenidos y competencias de Geografía de Venezuela del tercer año de secundaria se estudian las actividades económicas por sectores: Primario (Actividades extractivas), Secundario (Actividades de transformación), Terciario (Comercio y Transporte); estos pueden aplicarse en la comunidad para conocer su dinámica espacial, y así promover en el estudiante el interés de comprender las realidades geográficas humanas que se desarrollan en su área. La metodología empleada está enmarcada en un reconocimiento de campo donde los estudiantes identifican los elementos de cada uno de los sectores económicos y la dinámica de estos para luego sintetizar la información en un cartograma elaborado por ellos. Pudo observarse que los participantes logran realizar un análisis geográfico %u2013 espacial concerniente al estudio, precisando conclusiones acorde a las exigencias educativas y sociales actuales.
