dc.description	If you take this volume at face value, based on the title, you will likely wonder, as I did, how the combination of “online learning,” “innovation in higher education,” and “corporate training” could coherently co-exist within a “handbook.” However, the old adage about not judging a book by its cover certainly applies to this body of work. Yes, it is about online learning. It does have something to say about innovation in higher education. In part, it is also about Corporate Training. And it can, indeed, work as a handbook – there are all sorts of field tested, helpful practices described here. But in my view the whole is much, much more than the sum of these parts (for this reason I will refer to it as a “book” notwithstanding the choice of “handbook” for the title).
