Today's informatization era imposes new demands to education. Student of contemporary school should be equipped with abilities to independent use of technological civilization achievements and mostly to receive and communicate messages. Teacher of technical education plays relevant role in preparing students to life in information society. In the article author presents expectations against to-be teachers of technical education and his IT competences. The paper shows the results of survey conducted amongst students – to be teachers on assessment of their professional preparation to use the latest information technologies and use of IT in their future professional work. |
