Based on the research of alternative conceptions on buoyancy as possessed by secondary students, we construct eight common modes of alternative conceptions on buoyancy. Some meaningful conclusions are drawn from the statistics and analysis of the research outcomes and they can help to provide certain revelation in the effective teaching of physics. |
