dc.description Punctuation is the expression of cordiality; that’s important in written language. It may express the tone of article as well as allow the expression to be more complete. Therefore, we can’t neglect the deep influence of punctuation on reading and writing. The foundation for punctuation is laid in the elementary school. How punctuation is taught in elementary school textbooks can have a great effect on student studies. This research will point of reorganizing and analyzing the three editions’ textbooks, then comprehending the advantages and disadvantages, that can’t only give some advice for textbooks’ editors, but improve the students’ studying effects, reading and writing abilities.
