dc.description	В статті наголошується на важливості інформатизації освіти (ІО) як для системи освіти України, так і для інноваційного розвитку суспільства в цілому. Надається визначення та ретроспектива розвитку цього процесу, чинники від яких залежить ефективність ІО. Розглядається процес комп&rsquo;ютеризації освіти, який є складовою ІО, а також важливість впровадження в систему освіти методів і засобів інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій (ІКТ) та створення на цій основі комп&rsquo;ютерно орієнтованого інформаційно-комунікаційного середовища. Визначаються основні складові навчально-виховного процесу, на які впливає впровадження ІКТ навчального призначення, а також сучасні цілі інформатизації освіти<br>In the article it is emphasized the importance of informatization of education (IE) both for the system of education of Ukraine and for innovative development of society on the whole. The determination and retrospective view of development of this process, factors which efficiency of IO depends on are presented. It is examined the process of computerization of education, which is a part of IO as well as the importance of introduction the methods and means of information and communication technologies (ICT) into the system of education and creation on this basis computer-oriented informative-communication environment. The basic constituents of educational process, which are influenced by ICT introduction and also modern aims of informatization of education are determined
