dc.description INTRODUCING TECHNOLOGY THROUGH A VIRTUAL CLASSROOM AND CHANGINGTEACHING PRACTICESAbstractThe purpose of the article is to describe the experience of Universidad del Pacífico teachers who integrate technology through the voluntary use of a virtual classroom as a complement toface-to-face classes.Results show that by applying an institutional strategy including follow-up, accompaniment,collaboration and permanent motivation, teachers become aware of the importance of technology in their classes. They gradually introduce technology into their pedagogic practices through the use of varied resources and activities favoring an active role on the student.
