This contribution proposes to study the multi-faceted dimensions of journalistic specialised discourse. It aims to demonstrate that the journalist, as a mediator between source specialist and reader, is called upon to possess multiple discourse skills. These operate at varying levels and directions of specialisation according to different professional interlocutors: his professional peers, the domain source specialist and finally, the newspaper’s readership. With reference to the latter, the article looks at the journalist’s role as discoursal mediator and the speech accommodation strategies deployed in this context. To conclude, it analyses different discoursal cultures that converge to influence specialised journalistic writing.<br>Cet article se donne comme objectif d’étudier les différentes facettes du discours spécialisé journalistique. Il démontre que le journaliste, en tant que médiateur entre le spécialiste et le lectorat non-spécialiste est appelé à posséder une compétence discursive multiple. Cette compétence opère à différents niveaux de spécialisation selon le statut professionnel de l’interlocuteur: ses pairs professionnels, le spécialiste du domaine source et finalement le lectorat du journal. Dans cette perspective, l’article examine le rôle du journaliste en tant que médiateur discursif et les différentes stratégies d’accommodation discursive mises en œuvre. Pour conclure, l’article examine ensuite les différentes cultures discursives qui convergent pour influer sur le discours journalistique spécialisé. |
