dc.description Neste trabalho analisaremos o desenvolvimento de uma disciplina de Mecânica num curso de pós-graduação em Ensino de Ciências, focalizando o processo de envolvimento da classe como um todo, incluindo professor e alunos. Após apresentar a metodologia de pesquisa (um estudo de caso) e as categorias que subsidiaram a análise, apresentaremos com detalhes o processo de mudança dos alunos rumo a uma participação progressivamente mais satisfatória e a correspondente interpretação a partir de alguns conceitos da Psicanálise. Concluiremos com algumas sugestões referentes às possibilidades de tornar mais eficientes as intervenções didáticas do professor.<br>In this work we will analyze the development of a graduate course about Mechanics in Science Education, focusing on the class involvement process which includes teacher and students. After presenting the research methodology (a case-study) and the categories for the analysis, we will show in detail the students' change process toward a progressively more satisfactory participation pattern and interpret the results using some concepts from psychoanalysis. We will finish with some suggestions about the possibilities of more efficient didactic interventions by teachers.
