dc.description	La formación actual de los recursos humanos en salud se sustenta en un modelo médico hegemónico que poco favorece la incorporación real de los factores sociales como determinantes de la salud y la enfermedad. Las diferencias en los riesgos y en las formas de morir y enfermar por causas prevenibles, condicionadas por las diferentes asignaciones culturales asumidas socialmente por hombres y mujeres, expresadas en roles y estereotipos, conducen al reconocimiento de la existencia de perfiles epidemiológicos de género. La formación de recursos humanos en salud requiere un modelo que se sustente en la epidemiología de las diferencias, en el reconocimiento de las formas de reproducción y de conducta desde la subjetividad de lo masculino y lo femenino, que condiciona otra forma de promover, educar, tratar y diagnosticar los problemas de salud. La incorporación de esta perspectiva y el modelo pedagógico en que se sustenta es determinante en la formación de los recursos humanos en el modelo médico social. El Proyecto Magisterio sustenta la incorporación de esta categoría como parte de la formación humanística de los profesores.<br>The training of human resources in the field of health is based at present on a hegemonical medical model that favors the real incorporation of the social factors as determinants of health and disease. The differences in the risks and in the ways of dying and getting sick as a result of preventable causes conditioned by the diverse cultural assignations socially assumed by men and women, expressed in roles and stereotypes, lead to the recognition of the existance of epidemiological gender profiles. The training of human resources in health requires a model based on the epidemiology of differences, on the recognition of the ways of reproduction and behavior from the subjectivity of the male and the female that conditions another way of promoting, educating, treating and diagnosing the health problems. The incorporation of this perspective and of the pedagogical model on which it is based is determinant for the training of human resources in the social medical model. The Teaching Project supports the incorporation of this category as part of the humanisitic training of professors.
