The aim of this study is find out how teacher candidates studying at faculty of education in various universities are influenced by class learning environment in which they are included. Accordingly, in this study it was analysed if class learning environment has the same effect on the success of candidate teachers regardless of their gender, university, department and level of class or not. This study is descriptive and the data was collected via situation determination method. The universe of the study consists of Faculties of Education in Atatürk, Kafkas, Yüzüncü Yıl and Karadeniz Teknik Universities, the sampling consists of the students studying in departments of primary education. Means of data collection was developed by researchers taking into account the basic learning environment scales pepared by Moos, Trickett and De Yong (CES) and the scales translated and adapted into Turkish by Kısakürek and Acıkgöz. From the result of the study it was concluded that classlearning environment is a significant factor on students’ success in general although there are remarkable discrepancies among the opinions of the students about gender, department and class level variables in this term. |
