dc.description	O texto considera as relações entre educação e comunicação. Pesquisas que investigam essas relações privilegiam análises sobre os usos das mídias nas escolas e sobre o que é veiculado em diversos tipos de mídias, de acordo com os conhecimentos trabalhados nos programas escolares. Neste texto, a relação entre a educação e a comunicação é vista de forma diferenciada. A reflexão da autora tem como foco as relações entre o processo comunicacional humano e o processo educacional de ensinar e aprender. Analisa as possibilidades de uso dos meios digitais de comunicação e informação para ampliar e viabilizar essas relações, independente do espaço em que as pessoas se encontrem. A convergência dos meios torna possível a convergência entre as pessoas para a partilha de informações e a aprendizagem em conjunto. Estas ações já ocorrem nas comunidades virtuais de aprendizagem e em grupos de pesquisa interinstitucionais. Elas se apresentam como novas formas de prática educacional mediada.<br>The text considers the relations between education and communication. Prevail in researches about these relationships the analysis of the uses of media in the schools and critical readings of what it is diffused in several kinds of media, accordance with the schools programs. This text considers the relation between education and communication in a differentiated way. Links the essence of communicational process with the essence of the educational process: teaching and learning. Analyzes possibilities of use of the digital communication to extend teach and learning, independent where the people are. The media convergence makes possible the convergence between people, interested in changing information and learning meetings. These actions already occur spontaneously in virtual communities and inter-institutional groups of research. They present themselves as new forms of practical educational mediated.
