dc.description The present work proposes to take the diagnosis as a gesture of reading which includes its production conditions. To do so, it retakes the concept of language operated by psychoanalysis whose model started with Freud’s work – The Interpretation of Dreams (1900). Putting reading into the scene aims to open space so that in the attribution of meaning that all diagnosis addresses it is inscribed the possibility that an unforeseen diagnosis may arise in the school development of those said to be the subjects of special education.<br><p style="text-align: justify;">http://dx.doi.org/10.5902/1984686X6530</p><p style="text-align: justify;">O presente trabalho propõe tomar o diagnóstico como um gesto de leitura que deve incluir suas condições de produção. Para tanto, retoma a concepção de linguagem operada pela psicanálise – cujo modelo se inaugura com a obrade Freud A Interpretação dos Sonhos (1900). A colocação em cena da leitura objetiva abrir espaço para que na atribuição de sentido que todo diagnóstico encerra esteja inscrita a possibilidade de que um não-previsto possa surgirna trajetória escolar dos ditos sujeitos da educação especial.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Palavras-chave: Educação Especial; Psicanálise; Diagnóstico; Leitura.</p>
