dc.description The aim of this article is to put forward some thoughts related to temperament, character and personality. The three concepts should be outlined considering his differences and, at the same time, his interactions. By the temperament, the genetic causes and developmental aspects are discussed. Some ideas associated with the affect are also considered. After analysis about his structure it is suggested here the contribution that character could play in the psychotherapy. Lastly, it will be proposed that five basic systems: perception, cognition, emotion, motivation and action might be viewed as basic contributors for personality building. The paper concludes with a model under three perspectives referred to the systems.
