Purpose: theoretical justification of the place and role of public and private sectors in modern conditions, their comparative analysis, defining characteristics and prospects of the development of sectors. Methodology: in the research used the method of analysis and synthesis, the economic-statistical method and the method of comparative analysis. Results: considered the points of view of domestic economists on the correlation of public and private sectors, analyzed the data for the years 1995-2010, describing the dynamics of the sectors and the number of people employed in these sectors, have been studied both positive and negative aspects of the development of sectors, the advantages and disadvantages in the private and public enterprises. Practical implications: results of the study can be used by state agencies in drafting plans for the development of the private sector, to improve the processes of transformation of property relations. |
