dc.description Learning is a process that covers all periods of individuals’ lives. Therefore, people should always be receptive to learning, try to develop positive attitudes towards learning and thus be without concerns about learning when they want to solve problems that they encounter during their lives. The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitudes of student teachers receiving education at Education Faculty, in the departments of Computer and Teaching Technologies Teaching, Primary Education Mathematics Teaching and Turkish Teaching about learning according to the variables of the reason for preferring the teaching profession and academic achievement. The research group of the study consists of 200 student teachers receiving education at the education faculty. The survey model was used in the present study, which was intended to describe the current situation, and in order to determine student teachers’ attitudes about learning, “Attitude Scale for Learning” was used. The findings of this study indicate that student teachers who preferred the teaching profession under the influence of internal reasons are more open to learning, have higher levels of expectations from learning and have lower anxiety concerning learning.
